Gov. Radda Implements Cabinet Reshuffle and Appoints GM for Katsina State Radio

Katsina, Nigeria - In a strategic move, Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has executed a minor cabinet reshuffle, involving the exchange of positions for two commissioners. The Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development, Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, has swapped roles with Aliyu Lawal Zakari from the Ministry of Rural and Social Development.

According to a statement released on Monday by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Governor Radda has also approved the appointment of Lawal Attahiru Bakori as the new General Manager of Katsina State Radio Service. Bakori takes over from Abba Dayyabu Safana, the former General Manager, who now assumes the role of Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Engagement.

Born in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State, Lawal Bakori brings a wealth of experience to his new role. With a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Hausa, along with a Diploma in Journalism, Bakori began his career in the State Radio Service in 1988. Over the years, he climbed the ranks, holding key positions, including Manager of Programmes and Director of Programmes.

Governor Radda's directive also extends to the reconstitution of the management of Katsina United football club, effective immediately.
